MESSAGE TO PARENTS

Dear Parents,

We are very pleased that you have chosen to join Goldstake Academy. We heartily welcome you and state our commitment to always provide excellent services. 

We take great care to ensure the academic achievement, well-being, health and safety of our pupils. We request that you carefully read and familiarize yourself with the content of this brochure which is aimed at giving you information about the school and help you settle well into our school environment.

The following are therefore guidelines that govern the operation of the Nursery section of the school:

Our School day (Nursery Section) 

Pupils are expected to start arriving in school from 7.30 a.m. Should parents want to drop off their children earlier than 7.30a.m, a prior arrangement for morning child-minding has to be made at an additional charge.

On Clubs Day (If your child is not participating in club activities)

From 3.00pm a fee of N1,000 per hour will be charged for late pick-up. The latest pick up time is 6.00p.m. After 6.30p.m, there will be a charge of N2,000.00 per hour until the child is picked up. Please make advance arrangements if your child has to be in school after 6.30p.m. On other days, child-minding will start from 2.00pm, N1000 will be charged per hour. 

We appreciate the traffic challenges of Lagos but we encourage parents to make every effort to ensure a prompt and early start to the day. Lateness (especially when it is consistent) could cause major gaps in your child’s learning as the morning lessons are often the most valuable lessons especially for young children. 

This academic year, we will be having five lessons a day and each lesson will be for a duration of fifteen to thirty minutes. In addition, we will be having a short break time at 10.00 a.m. when we expect each child to have a healthy snack and a short play/relaxation time. School will be closing at 2.00pm and after school clubs will commence immediately.
