Curriculum in Use

Goldstake Academy is using an integrated curriculum principally based on the Nigerian National Curriculum with a British and Montessori flavour. The pupils’ stages of progression is based on Key Stages and for the Nursery School, we use the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and Montessori curriculum.

The British curriculum has six basic parts, which are;

1.   Physical, Social and Emotional Development

2.   Communication, Language and Literacy,

3.   Problem Solving, Reasoning and Numeracy

4.   Knowledge and Understanding of the world

5.   Physical Development

6.   Creative Development

Our Nigerian curriculum consists of subjects like Social studies, Current affairs, Elementary science and Moral Instruction.
